Boat trailer lamp mounting bracket
Rear lamp clusters on boat and general-purpose trailers.
What goes wrong with the original.
Rusts through if steel, shatters if plastic — usually at the slipway, after being dunked hot. The lamp is often fine.
ASA
Submerged in salt at the slipway and baked on the road. ASA does not absorb water and does not degrade in sun.
Orientation, infill and fixings
Solid, with slotted fixings for adjustment and drain paths so it does not carry water home.
Stated plainly
Bracket only. Fit E-marked lamps to it, and the trailer lighting must still meet road regulations — we make the bracket, not the lamp.
