RTK GNSS antenna mount for a tractor roof
Any survey-style GNSS antenna with a 5/8" × 11 TPI thread, on a flat or gently curved cab roof.
What goes wrong with the original.
Most guidance antennas ship with a magnetic puck that walks across the roof under vibration and tears its own cable. A rigid, bolted mount with a known offset from the cab centreline is what an RTK system actually wants — the antenna position has to be repeatable to the centimetre.
ASA
It lives on a roof in full sun for years. ASA is the only common printing material that holds its strength under long-term UV; PETG chalks and PLA softens in a hot cab.
Orientation, infill and fixings
Printed solid with a brass 5/8" insert set at 250 °C. Four-bolt base with a rubber gasket recess so the roof is not scored. We record the measured offset from the cab centre on the part itself so it can be entered into the guidance system.
Free with RTK corrections
Free to anyone connecting a machine to the Bude RTK base. We measure the offset and record it on the part.
